Arriving in St. Thomas in 1978, Rick went to Sea School and received his Captains License and began a career Captaining large catamarans doing daysail and snorkel tours for the tourist arriving by cruise ships. After 12 years of piloting various catamarans and riding out Hurricane Hugo on a 76’ Cat named “Spirit of St. Christopher”, Rick left the Virgin Islands and moved to Texas.
